Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot

My sister is getting married soon and I am going to be her maid of honor. When I found out that I was going to get the Something Blue VoxBox for Influenster.com I was so excited. I highly recommend signing up for Influenster so you can the chance to get to free products as well. Back on the topic, I received Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot inserts inside my box and I am so happy I get them. When all know how much standing and running around happens at weddings (especially for the wedding party). Not to mention all the dancing that takes place afterwords at the reception party. I am so tempted to open them up now but I want to save these for my shoes on the actual day. I will definitely be coming back later to edit a more in depth review. For now, I know of my experiences with other Dr. Scholls products and they have yet to disappoint for me! Disclaimer  received this product complimentary from Influenster.

Julep May Flowers Set

The May Flowers Set was featured in Julep's secret store this month. It is a trio with three brand new colors: Denver, Tina, and Cody. If you are interested in this set, then hurry up & order before the secret store is gone. Julep threw in a bonus jewelry piece from http://www.shopbelina.com/ for the first 800 people to order the set. I was lucky enough to be of the 800 and got a surprise in my set. Here are pictures of the set, surprise  and colors:

Butter London Lovely Jubbly

I finally received the two polishes I bought at the Ulta Butter London sale & I couldn't be more excited! Te two I got was BL Lovely Jubbly and Union Jack Black. I was originally going to get Lovely Jubbly and Fiver but unfortunately that was sold-out. I figured $9 for a decent black was a good investment and I couldn't be happier with my decision. It took only two coats to get a opaque rich, shiny black! Here is the mani I did with my new colors:

Lovely Jubbly is an amazing multi glitter polish that I just love! This is two coats UJB and two coats Lovely Jubbly topped with Seche Vite.

Julep Spring Mystery Box 2013

I got two mystery boxes for the price of one using the Julep 1/2 price gift card deal. I was originally saving it in the hopes of a Saint Patrick's Day mystery box but unfortunately Julep didn't do them this year. Sad but I am pretty happy with my boxes overall. So without further ado, here is my boxes this month:

Every mystery box came with a three chocolate eggs, a Julep nail file, three neon hair ties, and one packet of nail polish remover pads (ten pads). I was super lucky enough to get boxes number 7 & 2! This means that I got the pomegranate body products and these lovely polishes:
#7: Marie, Sarah, Sienna, and Camille (The new mystery color)
#2: Portia, Camille, Niecy, and Blake

I do have a few duplicates from these two boxes that I will be trading out but I am excited for Camille, Marie, Blake and Sarah. I am also interested in trying the pomegranate body scrub to see how it is. Not to mention I could always use another nail file (or two)! Did you get a mystery box? Love or hate it? As always, thanks for reading!

Saint Patrick's Day Mani

Here is a picture of my festive mani:
Sorry for the messy cleanup I had to do this quickly so I could clean for a guest I have coming tomorrow. This is 2-3 coats of Julep Cindy with an accent nail of Julep Sienna and Vivien. I topped it all off with their Freedom topcoat and that's it! Simple, but festive for the coming holiday. Here is a closer look at what I used for this look, I love all of these colors:
Hope you all have a great weekend and Saint Patrick's Day! Make sure to wear green even if it is just on your nails, don't want to get pinched ;) -LL+M

February 2013 Julep Maven Box

This month I got the Boho Glam box, which comes with the polishes Julianne, Ingrid, The Freedom Top Coat, and Oxygen Nail Treatment. They also included a mini lash curler as a extra bonus gift. Here are some swatches of what my polishes look like:

I love the application and color of both these polishes. Ingrid is described as a burnt orange creme and Julianne as a smoky grey blue creme. They are both pretty opaque and it took me just two coats for the color payoff in these pictures. Very happy with these two polishes!

The Freedom Topcoat is also something I really enjoyed from this box. It made my nails appear shiny and helped with my normal chipping/wearing problems. I'm also look forward to hopefully seeing some improved nail strength as I continue to test out the Oxygen Nail Treatment. As for the eyelash curler, what can I say? It works, is easily portable, and comes in a cute mini size. What is to hate about it? I love the eyelash curler and I am really glad that julep gave it out as a bonus gift! Thanks Julep!
